We are looking for a detail-oriented Freelance Financial Analyst to provide insights and guidance for financial decision-making. The ideal candidate will analyze financial data, create reports, and assist in developing strategies to optimize business performance. You will collaborate with our team to evaluate budgets, forecast trends, and identify potential areas for cost-saving or revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

Analyze financial statements, trends, and key performance indicators to provide actionable insights.
Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
Prepare detailed reports on financial performance, including forecasts, variance analyses, and risk assessments.
Assist in creating and monitoring budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Evaluate investment opportunities and make data-driven recommendations.
Stay updated on market trends and industry benchmarks to provide strategic advice.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
Proficiency in tools like Excel (advanced skills), PowerPoint, and financial modeling software.
Strong understanding of financial metrics, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to present findings and recommendations clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

Experience with tools like QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems.
Knowledge of investment analysis, portfolio management, or corporate finance.
Certifications such as CFA, CPA, or FMVA.
