Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Website Tester to thoroughly test our website and identify issues related to functionality, usability, performance, and overall user experience. The goal is to ensure the website works smoothly across different devices, browsers, and screen sizes before and after launch.
Responsibilities:
Test website features, pages, forms, links, and navigation
Identify and report bugs, errors, broken links, and layout issues
Check website responsiveness on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
Test compatibility across major browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge
Review user experience and usability and suggest improvements
Test page loading speed and basic performance issues
Verify that content displays correctly and consistently
Document all findings clearly with screenshots, screen recordings, and step-by-step reproduction details
Re-test fixes after issues are resolved if needed
Requirements:
Experience testing websites with a focus on manual testing
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to clearly explain bugs and issues in written reports
Familiarity with different browsers, devices, and screen sizes
Basic understanding of how websites function including forms, menus, buttons, and links
Ability to communicate clearly and meet deadlines
Nice to Have:
Experience with usability or UX testing
Experience testing WordPress or custom-built websites
Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Trello, Jira, ClickUp, or Google Docs
Deliverables:
A detailed bug report listing all issues found
Screenshots or screen recordings for each issue
Clear steps to reproduce each bug
Notes and suggestions related to usability and user experience improvements
Project Type:
