I'm a software engineer with a Master's in Informatics Engineering and a Bachelor's in Computer and Informatics Engineering, both from the University of Aveiro. My master's dissertation was on an AI-powered robotic dog that helps customers find products in stores, which involved a mix of integrating vision-language models for perception, e,bedded systems, and human-robot interaction.

I work in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Next.js, Node.js and FastAPI, with SQL, Docker, and Git.
On the side I like to build useful systems for personal use. I'm currently building an embedded system with a Raspberry Pi for a smart irrigation setup controled via a mobile app.
