Branding, Print & Digital Design
I’m Ana, a brand identity and graphic designer based in Salzburg, owner of Atelier 29a — a small, independent design practice where strategy, intuition, and visual storytelling meet. My work spans branding, print and digital worlds, with a focus on thoughtful identities, visual systems, and tactile printed matter that feels meaningful, intentional, and human.

I design with your audience in mind — not only how a brand looks, but how it is perceived, understood, and experienced by the people it speaks to. When the project requires a deeper strategic foundation, you’ll receive a guided workbook that helps clarify your brand story, values, tone, and audience perspective. This step supports alignment, shared understanding, and more intentional design decisions throughout the process.

I approach design as a collaborative and reflective journey. Before creating visuals, I take time to understand the atmosphere of a brand — its story, rhythm, and emotional world. From there, I translate ideas into clear structures, subtle details, and visually coherent systems that can live across both digital spaces and physical formats.

I work on brand identities, every scale design, and concept-driven print and digital projects for independent businesses and cultural initiatives. I’m selective about who I work with — I value clients who respect craft, intention, and long-term thinking.

Throughout each collaboration, I offer guidance, structure, and creative direction — supporting clients from early conversations and concept development through refinement, production, and implementation. My goal is to create design work that feels grounded, honest, and true to the essence of each project, while leaving space for curiosity, experimentation, and aesthetic sensibility.

During my time at Landesberufsschule 2 Salzburg in the Mediendesign program, I gained hands-on experience in media design and production with a strong practical focus. The training combined creative concept development, graphic design, print and digital layout, and project-oriented work with real production workflows.
A highlight of my time there was a collaborative magazine project developed together with another class. Our class was responsible for the visual direction, and I took on a leading role in the project. I was responsible for the branding and overall visual identity of the magazine, as well as the layout design and structure of the publication.
In addition to my design responsibilities, I also coordinated and oversaw the work of other departments, including text, photography, and content planning — ensuring that all creative elements aligned with the visual concept and worked together as a cohesive final product. This experience strengthened my skills in art direction, teamwork, communication, and creative project management, alongside my technical design skills.
I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in Bucharest, where I gained a deeper understanding of human behavior, perception, and decision-making. This background has become an essential part of my design practice. It influences how I approach creative thinking, visual communication, and user experience — helping me make design choices that are empathetic, intentional, and aligned with how audiences think, feel, and respond to visual messages.
