1. Plastic Injection Molding Machines:
· Setup & Operation: Installing and setting up molds in the injection molding machines. Adjusting machine parameters (temperature, pressure, injection speed, cooling time) for optimal production.
· Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults within the injection molding machines.
· Preventive Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and part replacement to prevent machine downtime.
2. Mold Modification:
· Adjustments & Repairs: Making precise modifications to molds to correct defects in the plastic parts (e.g., flashes, short shots, sink marks). This can involve machining, polishing, or welding on the mold itself.
· Performance Optimization: Tweaking the mold to improve cycle times, part quality, or to accommodate a different material.
· Texturing & Finishing: Applying or modifying the surface finish of the mold cavity to achieve a specific texture on the final plastic part (e.g., matte, glossy, grained).
3. Maintenance of All Types of Laser Machines:
· Broad Expertise: Maintaining various laser technologies, including:
· Fiber Lasers: Used for marking and engraving metals.
· CO2 Lasers: Used for cutting, engraving, and marking organic materials like wood, acrylic, leather, and some plastics.
· Crystal Lasers: (e.g., Nd:YAG) Similar applications to fiber lasers.
· Core Maintenance Tasks:
· Replacing consumable parts like laser lenses, mirrors, and nozzles.
· Cleaning optical components and laser pathways to ensure beam quality.
· Aligning the laser beam for optimal focus and precision.
· Troubleshooting issues with the laser source, motion control system, and cooling systems.
· Performing software updates and calibrations
