I am an IT professional with over 18 years in the field. I have worked with companies as small as 12 employees all the way through the massive enterprise that is the United States Air Force. I got my start in a hybrid Linux/Windows environment spanning several separate network spaces - talk about being thrown in the deep end! Since then, I have done everything from cybersecurity (both Red and Blue teams), to general MSP work, to SQL database administration, to site-level management of entire business networks. I even code in my free time, both professionally as a freelance coder and simply for my own enjoyment (something I have been doing for about 10 years now). I've always had a knack for automation tasks, starting with Bash scripting, moving may way up through Ruby and Perl, and finally into C/C++ and Python. I have done some Visual Basic along the way as well, but it has not been my focus. My largest claim to fame in that regard was my work on upgrading a VB6 program - one of those old programs that the whole business depends on, but the developer that built it in-house had long since left the company - to a more modern Visual Studio architecture, allowing it to fully integrate with more modern ERP systems.

Long story short, I am like a swiss army knife of an IT person. If you can name a technology, you can bet that I have worked with/on it.
