Seasoned Digital Health and Information Systems professional with over 17 years of experience designing, implementing, and scaling health information systems, EMR/LIS platforms, LIMS, ERP and DHIS2 solutions, and data quality frameworks across Ethiopia and multiple countries.
I have led and supported large-scale digital transformation initiatives within primary healthcare (PHC), laboratory systems, supply chain, and public health programs working closely with MoH Ethiopia and outside Ethiopia, donors (USAID, GATES and Others), NGOs, and implementing partners. My expertise spans systems integration, data governance, interoperability, digital public infrastructure for health, and AI-enabled health solutions.
Currently serving as a Digitalization and Data Quality Consultant at Amref Health Africa, I provide strategic and technical leadership for EMR implementation, HIS strengthening, data quality improvement, and digital health tool deployment across multiple regions.
I am passionate about leveraging technology, data, and AI to improve health system performance, decision-making, and health outcomes particularly in low- and middle-income country contexts.
