I'm Devagya, a final-year E&TC student from Mumbai with a focus on AI/ML. Over the past couple of years I've spent most of my time outside college building things — mostly web apps, mostly with the MERN stack.
My first real freelance work was with a startup called ASVA AI, where I built their frontend from the ground up. React, Tailwind, Chart.js for dashboards, API integration — the usual, but it taught me a lot about writing code that's actually maintainable and not just functional.
Since then I've worked on a few projects on my own. One of them, is a scraping tool that pulls content from websites, runs it through Gemini for summaries, and exports clean PDFs, built it to solve a genuine pain point I noticed in research workflows. Another is a real-time ambulance booking app with live routing and ETA updates, which was more technically challenging than I expected going in.
I'm strongest with React and Node/Express, but I'm comfortable picking up whatever the project needs. I've worked with MongoDB as well.
I'm a student, so I won't pretend, that I've shipped enterprise software at scale. What I can say is I take the work seriously, I don't disappear mid-project, and I ask questions before assuming.
