Emily Jayne Long

Hello!

My name is Emily. I am a graduate of London Studio Centre, with a First Class in BA (Hons) and I also hold a Dance Teaching Qualification with BBO (British Ballet Organisation). I am trained professionally and have professional performing and choreographic experience in London, the Isle of Wight and Channel Islands. I am open to teaching all ages and abilities from age 5 - adult. I also have safeguarding and first aid training, and a security license. I love teaching because I enjoy creating an inclusive, safe space for growth, development and expression and I would love to get back into it again. I also have strong choreographic skills that I would love to develop, through creating solos and group pieces for competitions and festivals, I can support and provide for that as I did growing up.

Example class:
Beginner/ Intermediate Jazz class looking to focus on techique. With a warmup, across the floor sequences and a routine to combine everything learnt. Gradual steps throughout the class to fidn where you are at and what it takes to develop and grow further. A slower paced class focusing on You!
