Giuseppe berardi

I am a Computer Engineering student at the University of Bologna with a focus on cryptography and Ethereum security. I offer three kinds of work.
Security research for blockchain and DeFi projects. I look for vulnerabilities in smart contracts and protocol design, and I am currently researching Lombard Finance and Beefy Finance through their bug bounty programs. My interests include smart contract attack vectors, formal verification, and cryptographic building blocks such as SNARKs, digital signatures, elliptic curves and post-quantum schemes. I also bring CTF and competition experience from two years in the Ulisse Cybersecurity Lab.
Cryptographic and systems programming. I write in Rust, C, C++, Go, Python and Solidity, and I am competent in distributed systems and concurrent programs. I have contributed to a Merkle tree library for Rust and to a Bloom filter library for Python written in Rust.
Full-stack web development. I build and maintain websites and web apps with Next.js, React, Deno, Node, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS, backed by PostgreSQL or DB2. I ran the development, management and security of a business website for two years, and my projects include a web mockup for a non-profit, an event calendar app, and a scalable parking lot system that took second place at a hackathon.
