Istiaq Asif

I am Md. Istiaq Ahmed is a Computer Science graduate from Independent University Bangladesh (minor in Management Information Systems) and a full-stack developer with a strong interest in data analytics. He has hands-on experience building end-to-end web applications using React, Node.js, and Django, paired with data skills in Python, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau.

He completed a Software Development Internship at Maple Service Solution Limited, contributing to both frontend and backend development. He's also a published researcher — his paper "PushPull-Net: Inhibition-driven ResNet Robust to Image Corruptions" was accepted at HCI International 2025 (Springer) — and holds a CCNA certification from Cisco Networking Academy.

Beyond his academic and professional credentials, Istiaq is a solo builder operating in the Bangladeshi tech and startup space. He's drawn to the "one person company" / indie hacking philosophy (in the spirit of Pieter Levels), and is actively balancing job applications with his own product work. He's currently building:
House Vault — a role-based document management app (React + Supabase), which he's monetizing as a sellable Gumroad codebase template, running a build-in-public campaign on X
হিসাব (Hishab) — a Bangla invoicing SaaS for Bangladesh SMEs, built on Next.js + Supabase + Vercel

He's currently job hunting for junior software engineering, AI evaluation, and IT business analyst roles, targeting companies like ReliSource and BD TASK, while continuing to develop and ship his own products independently.
