Recent work: as Lead Software Engineer at Venue I rebuilt the company's React Native app for iOS and Android, re-architected its backend, built live chat and group chat, and rebuilt the website in Next.js. Before that I built enterprise web applications for projects involving Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Verizon, and delivered custom apps for clients in construction, education, marketing and media.
I also have a design background (Figma, Adobe XD, design systems), so I can take a project from idea and UI/UX through development, launch, and ongoing support. I communicate clearly, give realistic timelines, and care about shipping work that is reliable and easy to maintain.
