Kenji Nakamura

I provide end-to-end mobile development services focused on building reliable, production-ready Android applications supported by solid backend systems and optional AI integration.

My work typically includes designing and developing Android apps using Kotlin, integrating REST APIs, handling authentication and user sessions, and ensuring the app behaves predictably across different devices, network conditions, and lifecycle states. I also build and maintain backend services to support mobile applications, including data storage, real-time communication, and automation workflows.

Where AI is required, I integrate practical machine learning features such as text classification or automation logic to reduce manual work and improve user experience. My approach to AI is production-focused: predictable performance, clear evaluation metrics, and safe failure handling rather than experimental features.

I often work with founders, small teams, and product owners who need someone to take ownership of the technical side—from clarifying requirements, through implementation and testing, to deployment and post-launch support. I am comfortable joining existing codebases, fixing edge cases, and improving stability without unnecessary rewrites.

I work remotely, communicate clearly in English and Japanese, and deliver in a structured and transparent way. My goal is to help clients ship mobile products they can trust and maintain over time.
