Nuno Pais

I started my professional career during University alternating classes with a part-time in an Architecture Office. In 1997, I began my internship in a family-run Advertising Agency whilst freelancing work in the little spare time I had left. After a year, I decided to accept the challenge of working in an Advertising Agency / Graphic Atelier in which I had the privilege of dealing with great clients (Media and Retail). For 2 years I worked with excellent professionals who taught me much of what I know today. Night-shifts, non-sleeping 2 days in a row and working entire weekends were part of the spirit of being an "Advertising guy". Great times in which each individual's work materialized in visible teamwork. During a one year stay in Porto, I had the opportunity to work in the Graphic Industry on a pre-press level. I learned a lot about the other side of Advertising: the printing world. I returned to Lisbon in 2000 and entered into an American Cosmetic Company. As an Art Director in Lisbon (2 years) and Madrid (4 years), I gained the necessary experience to open my horizons to international clients. In 2009, I joined the Marketing Department of a Financial Company inserted in a Holding where I was responsible for all the corporate and external image of several institutions that were part of the Group. In 2017, I decided to redesign the layout of my professional life. "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life. (Confucius)." That's why I'm a Designer!
