I am an experienced educator and community development professional with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and Community Development and a TESOL certificate.I have over six years of teaching experience,including teaching kindergarten in India and teaching online French to students preparing for Canadian permanent residency.
I am fluent in English ,French,Kirundi and Swahili, and i am passionate about helping people learn and grow. I am also the founder and CEO of Akabuto Initiative,a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving education and supporting community development in Burundi.
I provide English and French language tutoring for children and adults,including conversation practice,grammar,exam preparation,and personalized lessons.I have experience interpreting for people in court who cannot understand the language being used,as well as assisting tourists and other individuals with communication.
