I am a senior Orthopaedic Surgeon with more than four decades of clinical experience across the UAE, India, Bangladesh and The Bahamas. I hold an M.S. in Orthopaedic Surgery and F.R.C.S. (Glasgow), and maintain a valid medical registration in India.
My specialist experience includes Orthopaedics, Hand Surgery, Spine Surgery, Arthroscopy, Joint Reconstruction, Trauma and Emergency Care. My work has required extensive clinical reasoning, differential diagnosis, recognition of red flags and missed diagnoses, selection of appropriate investigations, assessment of treatment options and patient-safety decisions.
I have also held senior healthcare leadership positions, including Head of Accident & Emergency at Mafraq Hospital, Abu Dhabi; Director of Medical Services at Apollo Hospitals Dhaka; and Vice-President of Medical Services at Global Hospitals, Chennai. My experience includes clinical governance, JCI/NABH accreditation, quality improvement and patient safety.
I am an experienced user of generative AI and am comfortable working extensively with AI systems. I regularly critically examine AI-generated information, identify errors and inconsistencies, challenge reasoning, refine prompts and use iterative questioning to improve the quality and accuracy of outputs.
I am particularly interested in Clinical AI evaluation and medical AI training. I can assess AI-generated medical responses for clinical accuracy, quality of differential diagnosis, missed diagnoses, patient-safety risks, inappropriate certainty, completeness, appropriate investigation and escalation, and consistency with real-world clinical practice.
I remain clinically engaged through medical advisory work, telephone consultations and second-opinion guidance. I am a UAE Golden Visa resident and am available for remote international medical-AI projects.
