Responsibilities
Plan and conduct Hindi lessons for primary students as per the school curriculum.
Develop students’ Hindi language skills in Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing (LSRW).
Teach Hindi grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, reading and creative writing.
Use activity-based and child-centred teaching methods, including stories, poems, games and worksheets.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching resources, classwork, homework and assessments.
Monitor and assess students’ academic progress and provide individual support where required.
Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
Encourage students to communicate confidently in Hindi and develop a love for the language.
Maintain student records and communicate progress with parents and the academic team.
Collaborate with colleagues and actively participate in school events, assemblies and co-curricular activities.
