As a dedicated journalist and content creator, I hold a degree in Journalism from Moscow International University and I am currently graduating a master's degree in Media and Refugees - Migration Flows at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece.

In Russia since 2020 I was deeply immersed in the news flow covering politics, economics and social issues. I was cooperating with different medias and was forced to stop after Russian invasion to Ukraine. After moving to Greece I continued following situation in worldwide every day and was visiting country 7 times sincie september 2022. My media career combines deep understaning of politics, economics, social topics and fact checking of AI-generated content mostly connected to Western and Eastern Europe and Middle Eastern region. My freelance career encompasses a wide range of skills, including video production, photography, and drone filming. I own and manage my YouTube channel "SIMON KRANZ", where I share travel videos from various locations in Greece and around the world and started produce mini-documentary films since november 2025 (15.513 subscribers for April 21st, 2026).

My portfolio includes collaborations with Oceania Cruises, where I produced marketing drone footage showcasing their luxurious cruise ships. I was cooperating with various medias in Greece and Europe covering devastating wildfire in Greek Evros region and catastrophic flood in Thessaly region in 2023. I have also worked with private owners of booking, Airbnb properties and real estate owner in Greece to create captivating visuals that enhance their listings. Additionally, I was contributing to Greek Reporter, bringing my footage and storytelling expertise to their platform. In summer 2025 I was working with Authorities of Nisyros island in production photos and vidoes for applying for inclusion of the island into National Patks of UNESCO.

Based in Athens, Greece, with full mobility across Europe for short-term and long-term film projects. With a passion for journalism, history, art and visual storytelling, I am always eager to explore new opportunities and challenges in the media landscape worldwide.
