After 30+ years as senior accounting personnel at the Geological Survey of India, Ministry of Mines, Government of India, I superannuated in October 2025 and now work as a freelance data analyst specializing in Excel and Power BI.

My background gives me something most freelancers don't have: three decades of hands-on experience with real financial workflows — budgets, MIS reports, reconciliations, and reporting cycles used inside a large government organization. I now combine that with modern tools — advanced Excel formulas, Power BI dashboards, and AI-assisted workflows — to deliver clean, accurate, decision-ready reports faster.

What I do: • Data cleaning & formatting — turning messy spreadsheets into structured, usable data • MIS reporting — budget vs actual, variance analysis, monthly/quarterly summaries • Interactive dashboards — Excel and Power BI, built for non-technical stakeholders to read at a glance • Financial analysis — the kind of accuracy and rigor expected in government and corporate accounting

I'm currently building my freelance practice and taking on projects of all sizes — from a quick data cleanup to a full MIS dashboard build. Based in Kolkata, working remotely.
