In my current role as Management Control Manager, I oversee end to end monthly and quarterly financial reporting while ensuring full alignment with group frameworks and strict adherence to deadlines. I coordinate the annual budget and long term planning process, maintain robust oversight of OPEX and CAPEX, and conduct detailed variance analyses against both budget and historical trends. My performance presentations to CODIR provide clear, actionable insights on unit margins, cost structures, and business-line profitability. I also design scenario models that support strategic decisions, including those related to margin mechanisms and OPEX considerations, and I act as the affiliate’s liaison for industry-wide coordination on cost allocation keys and shared financial frameworks.
My earlier roles further strengthened my technical and operational expertise. As Management Control Officer and previously as Finance & Control Associate, I prepared P&L statements, validated OPEX and CAPEX requests, extracted and analysed fixed costs, and produced regulatory submissions for the Bank of Mauritius. I also handled IFRS-related requirements, including IFRS 16 right of use depreciation files, managed domestic and international payment operations on platforms such as Finacle and MACSS, and completed complex reconciliations including Nostro, inter bank, and leasing accounts. My foundation in treasury, where I supported Bloomberg FX operations and daily cash position reporting, further strengthened my financial control discipline.
I hold a Master’s degree in Finance from Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne and a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics, enabling me to approach financial modelling, forecasting, and data interpretation with precision and structure. I am recognised for my clarity of communication, high standards of execution, and ability to work effectively with cross functional teams. Fluent in English, French, and Hindi, I am comfortable supporting diverse stakeholders and driving alignment across departments.
