Consultancy and Outreach Experience:
o Sustain Africa Project (January 2024 to August 2024): Collaborated with Purdue University and ANAPRI on "Using Evidence-Based Learning to Drive Policy Measures and Government Strategies for Effectively Managing Input Price Spikes." (I was part of research team in Tanzania)
o Tanzania Fertilizer Regulatory Authority (TFRA): Drafted a concept note to support TFRA's fertilizer and soil health laboratory in achieving accreditation. (implemented in collaboration with the research team of three members)
o ANAPRI (June 2024): Drafted a concept note titled "Domestication and Implementation of the National Fertilizer and Soil Health Action Plan in Tanzania." (implemented in collaboration with the research team of three members)
Managed a diverse portfolio of Corporate and SME clients across manufacturing, energy, transportation and logistics, and real estate sectors. Key responsibilities included underwriting loan proposals, conducting financial analysis, assessing repayment capacity, structuring loans, and managing credit risks. Additionally, monitored loan portfolios, conducted economic and sectoral analysis, and ensured lending is compliant with bank policies and regulatory guidelines. Regularly visited client businesses and tangible collaterals.
