Description
We are looking for a Web Developer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining our web applications. You will work with other developers, designers, and product managers to deliver features and improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Write clean, maintainable code for front-end and/or back-end systems.
- Develop new user-facing features using modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
- Build and maintain server-side logic using languages such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, or PHP.
- Create and consume RESTful APIs.
- Work with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Ensure applications are responsive, performant, and work across different browsers.
- Debug issues and fix bugs in existing code.
- Participate in code reviews and team meetings.
- Use Git for version control and follow team workflows.
- Deploy updates and monitor application performance.
Requirements:
- Professional experience building web applications.
- Strong skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with at least one modern front-end framework (React, Vue.js, Angular).
- Experience with at least one server-side language (Node.js, Python, Ruby, PHP, Java, etc.).
- Experience working with databases (SQL or NoSQL).
- Understanding of REST APIs and how to integrate them.
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Docker or other container tools.
- Knowledge of web security best practices.
