I am a specialized mix engineer focusing exclusively on modern urban genres: Hip-Hop, Trap, Drill, and Phonk. I treat every project with technical precision, ensuring your sound is clean, impactful, and ready for mastering. Operating primarily in FL Studio, I understand the sonic requirements of these genres—powerful 808s, snappy drums, and clear vocal integration.
My mixing process is analytical and surgical. I focus on establishing core tonal balance, removing unwanted frequencies, and applying compression that adds energy and glue without introducing undesirable artifacts.
What is Included in This Service:
Gain Staging & Panning: Critical leveling of all elements to establish a solid stereo image and adequate headroom.
Surgical & Tonal EQ: High-pass filtering on non-bass instruments, removing frequency maskings, and enhancing musicality.
Dynamic Processing (Compression): Controlling peaks on transient-heavy elements (snare, 808 attack), vocal leveling, and parallel compression for density.
Vocal Integration & Effects: Includes basic vocal tuning, de-essing, integration, and adding creative effects like delay and reverb where appropriate to the mix.
Spatial Reverbs & Delays: Creating depth and dimension that complements the groove.
808 & Bass Management: Special attention is given to the relationship between the kick and 808, ensuring phase consistency and powerful translation.
Requirements from Buyer (Submit these after ordering):
Please prepare your files carefully. Failure to follow these steps will delay your project:
Stems/Multitracks: Provide all audio tracks (stems) in uncompressed 24-bit WAV format (ideally at 44.1kHz or 48kHz).
Consolidated Audio: All stems must start at the exact same point in the project timeline and run until the end of the song. Do not send FL Studio project files (.flp) unless specifically requested.
Bypass Effects: Turn off all major effects on individual tracks (like compression, EQ, reverb) unless they are integral to the sound design of that track.
Bypass Master: Ensure the master fader has no processing (no limiters, no compressors).
Labeling: Name every track clearly (e.g., Kick, Snare, Main Vox, Ad Libs).
BPM & Key: Specify the precise BPM and Musical Key.
Reference Track: (Required) Provide one link to a commercially released song that exemplifies the mix quality you are aiming for.
Delivery Formats:
Upon completion, you will receive a high-resolution, stereo WAV file (unmastered) with appropriate headroom for the mastering process.
Revision Policy:
I provide 3 free revisions per song to address specific adjustments to the mix. These include changes in instrument volume, EQ adjustments, and spatial effects (like changing reverb depth). Revisions do not include re-recording elements, re-sequencing the track, or integrating new vocal files after the mix is already complete. Submitting new files counts as a new order.
