I have an extensive background on carbon projects development and management under the voluntary carbon markets. I manage nature-based solutions projects such as regenerative agriculture programmes in Europe, as well as forestry and biochar projects. Thus, I am responsible for the successful completion of project validation and verification processes which involved effective communication with partners to make sure that projects are complying with all rules and requirements of the most appropriate voluntary carbon standard, such as Verra or Gold Standard. In addition, I hold strong expertise to set robust monitoring, reporting and verification systems.
In addition, I manage feasibility studies, by collecting necessary data and technical information from the project owners to analyse them against methodologies and standards to define the most appropriate ones in order to in order to ensure the practicability of the projects, i.e. baseline setting, carbon reductions and removals accounting, additionality determination, monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV) of emissions, safeguarding principles assessment, co-benefits identification. Moreover, I develop projects accordingly to reach the ultimate goal of carbon standard certification
