Objectives of the training:
- Know how to use note-taking in the professional environment
- Write an effective and relevant report

Who is the training for? This training is intended for anyone wishing or needing to learn how to take notes and write appropriate and effective reports.

Pedagogy of the training: The training includes theoretical courses with progressive exercises and fun games in order to improve step by step. Training materials given to the trainee.

Duration of the training: 14 hours

Number of participants: 1 (private lessons) to 10 (training adapted to companies).

CONTENT OF THE TRAINING:

MANAGING FAST AND EFFICIENT WRITING
1. The basics of note-taking
- Detect the importance of note-taking in professional and personal life
- Discuss the difficulties encountered when taking notes
- Prepare effectively for note-taking
- Understand the importance of active listening and summarizing information
- Discover the different techniques (with advantages and disadvantages)

2. Tips for effective note-taking
- Use abbreviations and symbols, colours and highlighting
- Identify, sort and prioritize information, highlight key points
- Organize and structure notes
- Manage notes after taking

WRITE AN EFFECTIVE AND APPROPRIATE REPORT
3. The basics of reporting
- Know the structure of the report, its standards and its specificities
- Ask yourself the right questions for the writing (objective(s), target...?)
- Discover the 4 types of reports, choose the appropriate professional writing

4. Writing an effective report
- Select the right plan: thematic, chronological or synoptic
- Structure your writing by adapting to the readers
- Choose the right style, the right words and the most impactful information
- Use editing tools to correct mistakes and clarify ideas
