Designed and developed RESTful APIs within a microservices-based architecture to comply with GDPR, restricting
access to private notes between 117,000 managers and employees across Europe.
• Designed and implemented an employee badge notification system using AWS services (SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB,
SNS) to track and alert warehouse managers when employees badged in/out, improving visibility and
reducing manual attendance tracking by 90%.
• Developed a Python automation tool to upgrade 5000 EC2 instances to improved specifications, reducing manual
effort, and saving over 40 engineering hours weekly.
• Implemented reprocessing lambdas to automate redriving of failed messages in DLQs which saved an estimated
30 hours per week across all AWS regions
• Implemented aggregation of advertisement data in collaboration with upstream teams, enabling around 54,000
advertisers to evaluate the performance of their ads and optimize their campaigns on the Amazon website
