Most analysts can build you a dashboard. Fewer understand what a category manager needs to see on it. I do both: 7+ years in procurement and supply chain, and Microsoft Certified as a Fabric Data Engineer (DP-700).
WHAT I DO
• Spend analysis and category cubes — classify messy PO and invoice data, surface consolidation and savings opportunities
• Demand forecasting — site-level and SKU-level models in Python (Prophet), validated against actuals rather than left as a notebook
• Supplier scorecards and risk frameworks — performance, delivery, quality, concentration
• Optimization models — sourcing allocation, vendor-rebate matching, network and location problems (PuLP / OR-Tools)
• Power BI and Microsoft Fabric — lakehouse builds, data pipelines, semantic models, migration from Power BI Premium to Fabric
WHY CLIENTS PICK ME
I work daily on procurement analytics supporting North American operations for a global services company, so I understand US and Canadian sourcing context, terminology and reporting expectations — not just the technical layer.
