i am a Junior Data Analyst / Data Annotation Specialist. I am hold a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and have gained practical experience working with data through academic and project-based environments.
During my recent involvement in a community health research initiative at Kisii University, I worked on data annotation and quality checking for structured datasets, maintaining a 99% accuracy rate through careful validation and review. This role required meticulous attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to follow guidelines while meeting deadlines. I also contributed to data modeling and database structuring for a web-based system, strengthening my understanding of how reliable datasets are built and maintained.
Alongside this experience, I have a practical foundation in Python (Pandas, NumPy), Excel, and Google Sheets, and I am comfortable cleaning, validating, and organizing data for analysis. I am early in my career, but I take my work seriously and value accuracy, accountability, and continuous learning.
