Nicolas Akerman

Applied ML scientist focused on developing solutions for systems with large volume of data and latency constrains. I count with a strong background in research and industry experience. I have over 7 years of experience in research and data/applied science, leading investigations and designing data-driven solutions for various industries and government agencies.

Throughout my career, I have collaborated with major institutions, including Fortra, Colombia’s Ministry of Education, and Colombia’s Industrial Association. My academic background includes a master’s degree in Economics, with a focus on theoretical econometrics, particularly Bayesian econometrics for forecasting and policy design.
