The Video Editor and Content Manager are responsible for creating, managing, and publishing high-quality content to support the organization’s communication and social media presence. The Video Editor focuses on editing videos for social media platforms such as Instagram Reels, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok, using mobile devices or computers. Responsibilities include cutting and arranging footage, adding subtitles, captions, music, transitions, and simple animations, ensuring correct formatting, resolution, and aspect ratios, following brand and ethical guidelines, collaborating with the Content Manager and communications team, organizing video files, and meeting deadlines. Required skills include experience with video editing applications such as CapCut, InShot, VN, good storytelling sense, attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently and in a team. Preferred skills include experience with multilingual subtitles, understanding social media trends, and basic sound editing and color correction.
The Content Manager is responsible for planning, creating, editing, and publishing written and visual content to communicate the organization’s mission and engage its audience. Responsibilities include writing and editing clear, engaging, and grammatically correct content for social media, websites, and announcements, planning and managing a content calendar, coordinating with video, media, and design teams, adapting messages for different audiences and platforms, ensuring consistent tone and messaging, proofreading content before publication, monitoring content performance, and improving communication strategies. Required skills include strong writing and editing abilities, excellent language proficiency, organizational and planning skills, leadership and coordination capabilities, responsibility, time management, and the ability to work under deadlines and multitask. Preferred skills include experience in communications, media, or social projects, understanding digital media and social networks, and basic knowledge of audience engagement and analytics.
