Arlin Sansome began his professional life as a Motorcycle Mechanic eventually running his own motorcycle repair, customization and fabrication business while also Teaching motorcycle and marine mechanics. His passion for performance oriented motorcycles led him into the world of EVs and upon his quest for performance he studied power electronics engineering to learn how to develop high power 3 phase motor controllers. He recently finished development on a 300 KW motor controller powering a Nissan leaf motor within a custom Honda CRX chassis he was able to set the World record for the fastest front wheel drive electric car in the 1/4 mile at 12.6 seconds and 117 mph. Arlin has designed custom power electronics for Zero Motorcycles, Arx Pax for the Hendo hoverboard, Airbus, Linear labs, Charge.US, Robotics Plus, and has worked as a consultant for Lightning motorcycles and Tarform motorcycles. Working with the team at EV Power Designs Arlin and the team won $10,000 for most production ready design from Hackaday. Arlin has a long history being dedicated to developing and promoting high performance EV/LEV Tech as well as Green Tech for enthusiasts, startups and established corporations.
