Sales Account Manager
Details
Description
You are not just an account manager; you are a business owner. You will be responsible for identifying companies with hiring needs, cold-calling/dropping in to win their business, and then pivoting to the "hunt" to find the perfect candidate to fill that role.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and prospect new business. You are expected to hit the phones and the pavement to secure new business.
Conduct intake calls with hiring managers to extract the "unwritten" requirements of a role.
The Sourcing. Use LinkedIn Recruiter, Job Boards, and your network to find passive talent. You don't wait for applicants; you go get them.
The Closing. Manage the interview process from start to finish. Negotiate salaries, handle counter-offers, and ensure the candidate starts on Day 1.
Grow and manage key account relationships.
Skills/Qualifications:
Sales-First DNA: You view recruiting as a sales process, not an HR function. Every "No" from a client or candidate is just a hurdle on the way to a "Yes."
Extreme Ownership: You don't blame the "market" or the "talent pool." If a job isn't filling, you change your search string or your pitch.
Competitiveness: You are driven by the leaderboard and the uncapped commission check.
Switch-Tasking: You have the mental agility to spend the morning "hunting" clients and the afternoon "hunting" candidates without losing steam.
