🚀 Hiring: Part-Time Full-Stack Web Developer (Remote - 60 Hours/Month)
We are looking for a precision-focused, independent Full-Stack Web Developer to join our team part-time (60 hours/month).
This role is a unique hybrid position. While a B.Sc. in Computer Science is highly valued as an academic foundation, proven, real-world experience and a strong portfolio will always trump a formal degree in our hiring process. We want an engineering generalist who enjoys wearing multiple hats—including digital marketing strategy, creative media, and frontend aesthetics.
If you rely on hardcoded pixel hacks, arbitrary spacing, or writing code directly on a live hosting server, please do not apply.
🛠️ The Technical Workflow (Non-Negotiable)
* Computer Science Foundation or Proven Equivalent: We respect a gold-standard academic background, but we respect production-ready engineering experience even more. You must understand core software architecture, data structures, and clean system design, whether you learned them in a university lecture hall or on the job.
* Zero Production Development: You will never develop or test code directly inside our production ScalaHosting VPS environment.
* Cloud-First Sandbox: All feature development, debugging, and styling configuration must be executed exclusively within a GitHub Codespaces sandbox.
* Git Discipline: You must have clean Git habits (atomic commits, pull requests) to push finalized code to our repository, which automatically deploys to ScalaHosting.
📱 The Typographic & Fluid Layout Requirements
We have incredibly high standards for frontend presentation and user reading experience. You will be tested on:
* Flawless Responsive Design: Layouts must be perfectly responsive and visually seamless across all devices—from tiny mobile screens to large desktop monitors. Fluid sizing scales must be programmatic, not patched together with sloppy media queries.
* Vertical Rhythm & Modular Spacing: You must possess programmatic control over vertical section spacing. We expect a strict spacing scale (no random margin-top: 43px;). Section titles must dynamically calculate spacing relative to context.
* Typographic Architecture: You must understand scanning ergonomics—constraining reading line lengths strictly between 45 and 75 characters per line (ch) for visual balance.
* Balanced Paragraph Rag & Wrapping: You must know how to eliminate awkward, highly uneven line breaks ("bad rags") in the middle of text blocks. We expect developers who understand text density and can use properties like text-wrap: balance; or advanced hyphenation and justification systems to ensure text flows evenly across all responsive breakpoints without leaving jarring gaps or single-word lines.
🎩 Bonus Multi-Hat Capabilities (Big Plus)
We run a lean, agile operation where cross-functional skills thrive. Let us know if you bring experience in:
* Graphic Design: A strong eye for layout, typography alignment, composition, and visual hierarchy.
* Marketing Infrastructure: Practical knowledge of building conversion-focused sales funnels and integrating clean, responsive email marketing templates.
* AI Tooling & Automation: Familiarity with leveraging AI video creation tools and automation to streamline content workflows.
📈 Commitment & Compensation
* Hours: Flat 60 hours per month (carefully structured to align with our development sandbox environment). This role is highly flexible and perfectly suited for talented final-year CS students (with experience) or disciplined engineers looking for a consistent, structured part-time contract.
* Pay: Competitive "local market" (not US market) monthly retainer.
* Career Growth: We value milestones. If you are currently finishing your university degree, we offer structured compensation milestone bumps upon official graduation.
>>Computer Hardware Requirements<<
Your system hardware should have these minimum specs:
Processor: Intel Core i7/i9 (12th Gen or newer) OR an Apple Silicon Mac (M1/M2/M3 Pro or Max). Memory: Minimum 24GB of RAM (crucial for full-stack multitasking).
Graphics (If Windows): NVIDIA RTX 4060, 4070, or 4080 with at least 8GB to 12GB of VRAM (required if they ever need to touch local AI).
Note: If you feel like your computer is powerful enough, submit the following information:

CPU:
GPU:

📥 How to Apply
Do not just send a generic resume. Please DM us or drop a comment with:
1. A link to your GitHub profile or professional portfolio.
2. One sentence explaining how you handle vertical margin consistency between an h2 heading and a paragraph in a responsive layout.
3. Your preferred CSS strategy for preventing text "widows" and fixing uneven, jagged line lengths in the middle of a paragraph block.
