Automotive Software Engineer | Embedded Systems, MBSD & AI/ML Specialist
I'm an Automotive Software Engineer with a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence for Smart Sensors and Actuators and over 5 years of hands-on experience across embedded software, model-based development, and AI-driven autonomous systems. I help companies design, build, and validate safety-critical software for automotive, robotics, and embedded platforms — from concept to production-ready code.
What I bring to your project:
🔹 Model-Based Software Development (MBSD)
I develop and validate control system models using MATLAB/Simulink, TargetLink, and MXAM, ensuring full compliance with architectural standards, traceability, and quality guidelines. Currently working on driver monitoring algorithms (Attention & Drowsiness Assist) at Intive GmbH.
🔹 Embedded & Safety-Critical Software
At FEV Türkiye, I developed and tested embedded software for an Electric Autonomous Vehicle VCU (Level 2 safety), following ISO 26262 and MISRA C standards, with static analysis via Polyspace and V-Model development processes.
🔹 AI, Deep Learning & Computer Vision
My Master's thesis focused on neural network-based markerless 6-DoF pose estimation for AR glasses using PyTorch, CUDA, and Nvidia Jetson (Edge AI). I also have experience in autonomous parking robotics, motor speed control, and occupancy prediction systems.
🔹 CI/CD & Software Quality
I've built CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, integrated SonarQube for automated code quality reviews, and used Flake8 for Python style enforcement — all within Agile/Scrum environments using Git and SVN version control.
🔹 Core Technical Skills
C / C++ / Python / MATLAB / Simulink | PyTorch / TensorFlow / YOLO | ADAS/AD Systems | ISO 26262 & MISRA C | Static Code Analysis (Polyspace, MXAM, SonarQube) | CI/CD (Azure DevOps) | Git/SVN | Control Systems Design | Sensor & Actuator Integration | FPGA (basic) | LTSpice | Siemens NX
Industries & Experience:
I've worked with leading automotive and engineering organizations including Intive GmbH, Reply, FEV, Mercedes-Benz Türk, and Deggendorf Institute of Technology, giving me exposure to both corporate-scale automotive software processes and research-driven innovation projects.
Why work with me:
I combine rigorous engineering discipline (safety-critical, standards-compliant development) with a strong foundation in modern AI/ML tools — a combination well-suited for projects in ADAS, autonomous systems, embedded control, or AI-powered product development. I communicate clearly, document thoroughly, and take ownership of quality from requirements through validation.
Fluent in English (C1) and Turkish (native), with working German (B1). Based in Munich, Germany — available for remote collaboration across time zones.
Let's discuss how I can help bring your embedded, automotive, or AI project to life.
