Description

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Software Engineer with native-level English who enjoys talking with clients just as much as talking about code. This is a part-time, fully remote contractor role where you'll be the bridge between our clients and our engineering team. You'll join calls, clarify what needs to be built, and keep non-technical stakeholders confidently in the loop.

What You'll Do

Join video calls with clients (discovery, status, follow-up)
Ask the right questions, gather and clarify technical requirements
Translate client needs into clear, actionable tasks for developers
Explain technical decisions and trade-offs in simple language
Prepare short, clear meeting notes and follow-up action items
Keep clients informed about timelines, risks, and blockers
Spot upsell/cross-sell opportunities when it makes sense
Build long-term, trust-based relationships with stakeholders

What We're Looking For

Native-level English (spoken and written)
5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or related role
Strong understanding of modern software development
Excellent at "translating" between tech and business
Comfortable with US time zones and communication style
Organized and reliable - you follow up and close loops
Able to work independently in a fully remote environment

Nice-to-Have

Previous work with US-based clients
Experience in customer success, account management, or pre-sales
Background in FinTech, eCommerce, or Al projects

Time & Schedule

Part-time: typically 5-10 hours per week (hours may vary by client load)
Flexible schedule, as long as you can join calls in US time zones when needed
Fully remote - you can be based anywhere
This is a senior, high-trust role: you'll be the face of Everise Digital for key accounts, and the compensation reflects that. We never ask candidates to pay any fees or purchase equipment as part of the hiring process.
