Description

API Architecture & Design
• Design an OpenAPI 3.1-compliant REST API for both internal and external use.
• Define authentication & authorization (OAuth2.0, JWT).
• Design database schema (PostgreSQL preferred) for applicants, documents, payments, and tracking.
• Create modular microservice structure (user management, visa applications, payments, notifications, reports).

Core Functional Modules

a. User & Partner Management
• Register/login for users, partners, and admins.
• Role-based access control (RBAC).
• Partner API keys with rate limits and usage logs.

b. Visa Application Workflow
• Endpoints to submit, edit, or cancel visa applications.
• Upload and manage applicant documents (PDF/JPEG).
• Store travel itineraries and form data.
• Generate application reference numbers and receipts.
• Track status (submitted → verified → processing → approved/rejected).

c. Payment Integration
• Integrate Stripe / PayPal / Flutterwave for secure transactions.
• Multi-currency (USD, AED, ZAR, PKR, INR) support.
• Refunds, transaction logs, and webhook notifications.

d. Document & ID Verification
• Integrate with OCR / Document scanning APIs (e.g., Google Vision, Tesseract, or ID Analyzer).
• Optional face-match or selfie verification (third-party SDKs).

e. Notifications & Communication
• Email/SMS/WhatsApp notifications (Twilio or Meta API).
• Templates for application received, payment success, document missing, visa decision.

f. Dashboard & Analytics (Admin API)
• Retrieve application stats by country, visa type, or partner.
• Export reports (CSV, XLSX, PDF).
• Log user activity and API events (for auditing).
