Job Description – Banquet Director

My experience as a banquet director has allowed me to be responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of events within the establishment. She ensures that we provide an exceptional experience for customers while ensuring that operations run smoothly before, during and after each event.

Main responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate events such as weddings, galas, conferences, corporate banquets and private receptions.
- Be the main point of contact between the customer and the operational team.
- Supervise the setting up of rooms according to the specific needs of each event.
- Coordinate the work of the service, kitchen and logistics teams to ensure a smooth process.
- Manage banquet staff schedules and ensure efficient segregation of duties.
- Ensure compliance with the quality and service standards of the establishment.
- Respond quickly to requests and unforeseen events during events.
- Follow up with customers before and after events to ensure their satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the various departments to optimize the organization and efficiency of operations.
- Ensure compliance with budgets and contractual agreements.

- Experience in event management, hospitality or catering.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Leadership and ability to supervise teams.
