Job summary

As a Storage Administrator , you are seen by the members of your Storage & Backup team to be not only a pillar of strength but a source of motivation and inspiration as well. You should be someone whom is savvy with Storage System and have worked with systems and network teams to help them build up stong and robustness storage infrastructure. You have prior managing system experience before you adopted Storage as this experience would allow you to quickly understand the needs of stability, safety for all stacks of cloud or hybrid platforms. You should expect the role to be part of a global effort to support our costumers on their IT. You should be someone who is passionate about automating, trouble-shooting, robustness and reliability, trouble-shooting network and system configuration, monitor and manage storage systems.

 Act as an active and reliable member of the Storage/Backup team, managing and resolving all storage infrastructure system issues.
 Administer and maintain platform storage systems, including performing updates and upgrades.
 Monitor storage platforms proactively and take anticipatory actions to prevent issues.

Required competencies/experience:

 Practical experience in platform administration and operation/maintenance of storage systems, such as Hitachi Vantara VSP and NetApp CDOT.
 Solid understanding of SAN (Storage Area Network), NAS (Network Attached Storage), and Object Storage platforms.
 Proficiency in one or more system-level scripting/programming languages, including BASH, ZSH, Python, or Ruby.
 Familiarity with leading backup solutions and market-standard technologies.

Requested competencies / experience:

 Significant hands-on experience with storage systems.
 Working knowledge of major storage platforms, including Hitachi Vantara, Dell/EMC², NetApp, Brocade SAN, and Red Hat CEPH.
 Proficient in CI/CD practices, with strong skills in scripting, automation, and monitoring.
 Experience with backup solutions such as NetBackup, IBM TSM, and Veeam.
 Familiar with operating systems and virtualization platforms including Windows, Linux, VMware, KVM, Solaris, and Citrix.
